1. Who We Are

GetBurningBridges Team operates GetBurningBridges and is the controller of personal information processed through the service. For privacy questions or requests, contact hello@getburningbridges.com.

2. Information We Process

Depending on how you use the service, we process:

• Account information: email address, name, and sign-in or security information.
• Photos and video: the photo you submit, settings you choose, photo review results, credit use, and the video we create.
• Purchase information: order, payment, amount, currency, and refund records. The payment provider handles card details; we do not receive or store your full card number.
• Device and usage information: IP address, browser and device information, language, security records, and—only after consent—campaign attribution and optional analytics or advertising information.
• Support communications: information you include when contacting us.

3. Why We Process Information

We process information to provide accounts, image moderation, video generation, downloads, payments, support, and requested account features. Under the GDPR or UK GDPR, these activities are generally necessary to perform our contract with you. We use limited security and service-usage information to prevent abuse, protect the service, and troubleshoot it under our legitimate interests. We retain transaction or other records where required by law. Optional analytics, advertising, chat, and one-tap sign-in services are used only after you consent; you can withdraw consent in Cookie Settings.

We do not use submitted photos or generated videos to train our own AI models, and we do not use moderation to identify a person.

4. Photos, Moderation, and Video Generation

When you submit a photo, we send it to SeeAPI for automated content moderation. If it passes, we send the photo and your selected settings to Replicate to create the video. We do not use submitted photos or generated videos to train our own AI models. Automated moderation can make mistakes; you remain responsible for following our Terms of Service.

5. Cookies and Preferences

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and remember preferences such as language, cookie choices, and dashboard settings. Sign-in and dashboard preferences may last up to 7 days; your cookie choice may be kept for up to 1 year. With your consent, campaign details may be kept for up to 30 days, and optional analytics, advertising, one-tap sign-in, or chat services may use cookies or similar storage. You can accept, reject, or change your choice at any time using the banner or the Cookie Settings link in the footer. Rejecting optional tools does not affect sign-in or core service features.

6. Service Providers and International Transfers

We share only the information needed with providers that help operate the service. These currently include Cloudflare for hosting; SeeAPI for moderation; Replicate for video generation; the payment provider shown at checkout (currently Stripe); and, only after consent or when you request the relevant feature, Google, Plausible, Crisp, or Tawk. Support or email providers may also process information when needed to answer your request.

These providers may process information in the United States or other countries. Where data protection law requires a transfer safeguard, we rely on the mechanism applicable to that provider and processing, such as an adequacy decision or approved contractual clauses. Contact us to ask about the safeguards relevant to your request.

We do not sell personal information for money. If an optional advertising provider’s processing is treated as a sale or sharing under a privacy law that applies to you, you can reject optional tools in Cookie Settings or email us to exercise the applicable opt-out right.

7. How Long We Keep Information

• A photo draft saved for checkout expires after 24 hours.
• Generated videos we keep are scheduled for deletion 14 days after generation completes. Copies held by providers may be removed or expire sooner under their own policies.
• We keep account information and service history while needed to provide the service. We may keep it longer when reasonably necessary for security, abuse prevention, disputes, or legal obligations.
• Order and payment records are kept for the periods required by tax, accounting, payment, and consumer-protection laws.
• Support correspondence is kept for as long as needed to resolve the request and maintain appropriate service records.

8. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, export, restrict, or object to certain processing; withdraw consent; or opt out of targeted advertising, sale, or sharing. To exercise a right, email hello@getburningbridges.com from your account address and describe your request. We may ask for reasonable information to verify it. You may also complain to your local data-protection authority or other regulator. We will not discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right.

9. Children and Photo Rights

The service is for adults. Do not create an account or use the service if you are under 18 or the age of majority where you live, whichever is higher. Do not upload images of anyone under 18. Before uploading an identifiable adult's photo, make sure you own or otherwise hold the legal rights to use the photo and have obtained any permission or consent required from people shown.

10. Security and Policy Changes

We use reasonable safeguards to protect information. No online service can guarantee absolute security. We may update this policy as the service changes, update the date above, and give notice of material changes where appropriate or required by law.
